"Wed on the Web" Appointments
Contact the San Mateo County Clerk's Office at (650) 363-4500 to reserve a time for your wedding in our chapel and to schedule the "Wed on the Web." Civil ceremonies are performed at 10 and 10:30 am, 2 and 2:30 pm.  Bring your marriage license to the County Clerk's Office on the first floor thirty minutes prior to the ceremony. If you do not have a license, come an hour before the ceremony to purchase one.

These appointments must be scheduled no later than one week prior to the wedding.

Sending Invitations
E-mail invitations to the wedding announcing the time, place and instructions for connecting to the Wedding Cam will be created for you by our staff once the arrangements have been finalized. We will email you the HTML invitation, a pdf of the invitation and both will include the online link for your guests to use to watch your wedding ceremony. You will be able to send the invitation via email to your guests when you're ready--individually or as a group and you'll be able to add guests later, if you wish.

Viewing the Wedding
Viewing weddings online requires Real Player 8, available as a free download at http://www.real.com. Wed on the Web guests will access the ceremony page by clicking on a link provided by the Clerk's office.

Complimentary DVD Copy of Your Wedding Ceremony
Couples who broadcast their wedding online from our chapel will receive a complimentary copy of their wedding ceremony on DVD. This is our gift to you. It's beautiful cover is customized with your names and your wedding date; it is our hope that this gift will capture and preserve this special moment in your lives and be something for you to treasure and share with others.

Fees
The fee for a marriage license is $78.00 (cash or credit/debit card (Visa or Mastercard only). The fee for chapel weddings is $35.00. There is no additional fee at this time to have your ceremony webcast.
